new baby smell

its true. I never really thought much about it, but there is a new baby smell. Today one of my close friends had a baby. She is the most beautiful baby I've ever seen.

It *almost* makes me want to do it, if I didn't already know the craziness that comes after. Just to see mom with the gorgeous little girl, holding her to her chest... just like I did with Rainer, was so wonderful. I have an amazing little baby poodle, and that's all I need.

Luckily she had no complications, everything went great, I wish I could have been there.
She was only a couple of hours old when i got there. it was great to see her, and i know i'll be spending a LOT more time with her in the coming months and years.
